The Clothing Swap

Community

The Swap is a community event for members of our local support group. At The Swap, you can bring your kids’ old size clothes and pick up your kids next size clothes, for free. We also have men’s, women’s, and breastfeeding supplies, toys, shoes, books, pretty much everything!

We ask that people only take what they need and make sure to leave enough for other families. You do not have to donate to attend.

Quality

You MUST bring your donations bagged and labeled by size and gender. Unsorted clothing not accepted. Volunteers will not sort your clothing. Do not bring old ripped clothes, or stained clothes. If it belongs in the trash, put it in the trash, don’t make us do it for you. This is important!

Attach your outfits together with a rubber band or safety pins – thanks!

Donate $1-$5

We are asking for a donation of $1-$5 per person at the door. This donation goes directly into the group fund. The group fund pays for the location for events like the swap and support group meetings.

Drop-Off

When you come to drop off the night before, please set your items beneath the marked table for that size/gender. We will put it out on the tables.

Be Nice

Please conduct yourself with class and respect during the swap. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

Swap Rules

Where possible, we ask that you leave kids at home.

Baby wearing is great! Please don’t bring a stroller, it clogs up lanes.

Do not leave your young children unattended in the toy area or anywhere else.

Have big kids? We would love their help with carrying items to their cars.
